Question by SeaShells: Upgrading my bathroom... Q about home value?
I am an interior planning student and we just bought our first home a couple of several weeks ago. It's a 20 years old townhouse & we purchased for a smaller amount compared to comps (same size & layout) within our neighborhood happen to be selling for. To date, we have changed the kitchen at home counter tops, home appliances, and kitchen floor. We have re-colored nearly everything to some neutral beige color. In February., whenever we do our taxes, we are likely to replace all of our carpet throughout our home, get new home windows, a brand new door, and new sliding clear glass door within our kitchen. We are likely to be carrying out a lot!
We've already bought porcelain tile for that bathroom floor, we have changed the counter top, sink, faucet, light fittings, etc. We'd the bath tub resurfaced several several weeks ago, but it is peeling & chipping. It's awful. I believed about using Rebath, however i know it is a cheap & easy alternative. These houses aren't selling for enough to complete anything really extravagant with marble or granite or anything. Do you consider that might be suitable for resale?
*Sombra*-- To reply to the questions you have, Rebath is really a company which will use a new bath tub over a classic one. The retailers had the home resurfaced in regards to a week before we bought the home. He left the receipt for all of us just in case we wanted it. In regards to a month as we moved in, it began peeling. We known as the man & he came out & fixed it. Inside a couple of days, it had been peeling again. We'd rather not cope with the headache.

Generally, kitchen areas and lavatories sell a home. Even the money wisely spent both in places is generally become back upon resale. However, such things as pools create a house harder to market rather than repay.
